What is this place?
For the longest time I have wanted to build up a community of like minded people. A place where we can share things that we're interested in, ask for help and advice and just hang out and make friends. I feel like this forum is going to be a place where this can happen.
Parallel Nexus, What does that even mean?
This is a name I have been using internally for my own projects for a while. To break down the name and give it meaning you need to think of it as two parts. Parallel as in two or more lines running side by side, but never meeting. This could be thought of as your life and the life of an ant say. Two existences that happen at the same time, yet never directly interact. Nexus is the opposite, it is when these parallel lines converge and meet.
I like the juxtaposition of the name, it doesn't hold true in reality yet the concept can be applied in many ways... or something of that affect.
So back to the first question, what is this place?
This is a platform to engage with people who aren't bound by the limits of the normal day to day. You can share what you're working on, things that interest you. If you're stuck with something, this is a place to reach out for help, or if you like helping others this is a place to assist.
So, go ahead, introduce yourself and let's see what this community blossoms in to.
